Exercise data: sources and licence

wger Workout Manager

This knowledge graph contains the complete exercise data of wger (https://wger.de/, "wger Workout Manager", the wger project and its contributors): 913 exercise records with all translations, aliases, descriptions and notes, plus links to (not copies of) their images and videos. Source: the wger public REST API (https://wger.de/api/v2/), snapshot in sources/wger/.

wger exercise content is licensed per item under CC BY-SA 4.0, CC BY-SA 3.0 or CC0 1.0. Each imported item keeps its own dcterms:license, schema:creditText (the licence author given by wger) and schema:contributor (the item's author history) in the graph. CC BY-SA 3.0 material is adapted under CC BY-SA 4.0 as permitted by its later-version clause (section 4(b)); CC0 items need no attribution but are credited anyway.

Changes made: HTML was stripped from descriptions and notes; names became SKOS-XL labels; wger categories, muscles and equipment were mapped to this ontology's concepts; records were matched to (merged into) canonical exercises or turned into new exercises whose muscles, equipment, movement patterns, difficulty, mechanics and force were derived from the wger data plus our rules. The adapted material is released under CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/).

Images and videos are NOT redistributed here: the graph only links to them at wger.de, with each file's own licence and author, which must be honoured by anyone who downloads them.
